தண்ணி போட்டு ஆ(ஓ)டும் கார்

கார் ஓட்டுவது இனிமேல் தண்ணி பட்ட பாடு தான். கீழ்க்கண்ட செய்தியை படிக்கவும்.

Skyrocketting fuel prices, adulterated fuel, long queues at petrol stations, often unscrupulous attendants out to fleece you -- your cup of woes spills over everytime you need to fill the tank of of your car.

But all this could be history if Genepax -- a Japanese company -- is successful in commercialising its latest innovation: the 'water car.'

Genepax unveiled the car in Osaka, Japan on June 12, saying that a litre of any kind of water would get the engine going for about an hour at a speed of 80 kmph, or 50 mph.

Genepax president Kiyoshi Hirasawa, in a mission statement published on the company's official web site, said, "Our mission is to develop technology and products for efficient production and use of energy. By 'efficient,' we mean ecologically and economically efficient. Ecological and economical energy is our business. Our goal is to create energy that is not taxing on our natural environment."

The water needed to run the car could be tap, rain or sea water, the company clarified.

Once the tank (which is at the rear) of the Genepax car is filled with water, a generator would extract hydrogen from the water using, what the comapny calls, its Water Energy System, or WES, to produce electricity that the car runs on. As opposed to the hybrid cars which emit water, Genepax's invention consumes water.

Whether the car is a commercial success or not remains to be seen, but Genepax said it had applied for a patent and is planning to collaborate with Japanese auto manufacturers.

"Energy made from water," as Hirasawa says, "is not a dream story anymore We hope many people will join us in our challenge to promote the use of our WES, for the better future of the earth," he added in a statement.

தசாவதாரம் திரைப் படத்தை என்னுடன் பேர்ட் த்யேட்டர்ல பார்த்த 100-120 பேருக்கும் இந்தப் படம் பிடித்ததோ இல்லையோ எனக்குத் தெரியாது எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்திருந்தது. இந்த விமர்சனம் சற்று பெரியதாக இருக்கப் போகிறது. எனவே கமலையோ, அல்லது இந்தப் படத்தையோ பிடிக்காதவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் வருகைக்கு நன்றி, தடயம் அடுத்த அத்தியாயம் வெளிவரும் போது பார்ப்போம். மற்றவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து படிக்கவும்.

கதை, ஒரு உலக மகா பயங்கர கிருமி அதை வெளியில விட்டா உலகில பலர் அழிந்து விடுவார்கள் என்று அதைக் பத்திரமாக காப்பாற்ற நினைக்கும் ஒரு சாதாரண விஞ்ஞானியின் கதாபாத்திரத்தில் கமல் (கோவிந்தராஜ் ராமசாமி நாயக்கர்). இதைத் தொடர்ந்து கமல் சந்திக்கும் பலரில் மற்ற 8 கமலும் எலும்புகூடாக போய்விட்ட ஒரு கமலும் அடங்குவர். இந்த கதையை ஹாலிவுட்டில் டாம் க்ரூய்ஸ், வில்பர் ஸ்மித் அல்லது வேறு ஒருவர் நடித்திருந்தால் அதைப் புகழ்ந்து பக்கம் பக்கமாக எல்லோரும் பேசி இதைப் போல ஒரு படம் தமிழில் வருவதற்கு இன்னும் 100-150 வருஷம் ஆகும்ன்னு ஆருடம் சொல்லிகிட்டு இருப்போம், அப்படி ஒரு படம் வந்ததும், அட போங்கய்யா கதையே புரியலை, கிருமியாம், ஒரு சின்ன டப்பாவில இருக்குமாம் அது உலகத்தையே அழிக்குமாம் சும்மா புருடா விடாதீங்கன்னு சொல்லி தாளிக்கிறோம்.

எங்கள் உறவினர் ஒருவர், 10 கமலஹாசனின் குணாதிசயங்களை விவரமாக ஒருவர் ஆங்கிலத்தில் விளக்கியிருப்பதை எனக்கு அனுப்பினார், அதை அப்படியே இங்கு தந்திருக்கிறேன். முக்கியமாக இதை எழுதியவர் யார் என்று எனக்குத் தெரியாது.

One thing we had noticed is why people didn't get the real subtext and reason for the various roles and hence the title. If you knew the real dasavatharams of Lord Vishnu and their characters you can appreciate the script more. Let me explain, starting with the best adapted role:

1. Krishna avatar - Vincent Poovaraghavan
Lord krishna is actually a dalit, he is dark-skinned [shyamalam]. He saved draupadi when she was being violated and he was the actual diplomat in mahabharatham. Lord krishna dies of an arrow striking his lower leg. Now look at how vincent was introduced.. he appears when asin is about to be molested and he saves her like draupadi. Vincent is the dalit diplomat, fights for land issue [soil issue to be exact] and dies from the metal rod striking his leg. Oh even five of vincent's men are drugged at P. Vasu's.. sounds familiar???

2. Balarama avatar - Balarama naidu
This is an easy given. as the name suggests and the role personifies you can easily get it.

3. Mathsya avatar - Ranagaraja nambi
Nambi is thrown into water in an act of trying to save lord from being thrown into sea, though vainly. what more clue do you want?

4. Varaha avatar - Krishnaveni paatti
During the mukunda song, krishnaveni paatti does varaha avatar in the shadow puppetry. The frame freezes on it for a second. there is the clue. Moreover, in varaha avatar lord actually hides earth so as to protect life forms. Here too krishnaveni hides the germs - life form inside the statue so as to protect.

5. Vamana avatar - Kalifulla khan
Remember in vamana avatar, lord vishnu takes the vishvaroopa, that is the giant form! Hence the giant kalifulla here symbolises vamana avatar.

6. Parasurama avatar - Christian Fletcher
Parasurama is actually on an angry killing spree and killed 21 generations of the particular kshatriya vamsa. Hence the real KILLER... Guess what thats what our Fletcher is! He comes around with the gun [modern upgrade for axe] and kills everyone around. I have to check if he kills 21 people though.

7. Narasimha avatar - Shingen Narahashi
First of all the name itself is a play on the words singam [means lion in tamil] and narasimha [the avatar being symbolised]. Lord Narasimha manifests himelf to kill the bad guy and he also teaches prahaladha.In the movie, he shows up to kill the killer fletcher! and is also a teacher.. Lord Narasimha had to kill the asura with bare hands and hence the martial arts exponent here.. get it?

8. Rama avatar - Avatar Singh
Lord Rama stands for the one man one woman maxim, kind of symbolising true love.. Here Avatar portrays that spirit by saying that he loves his woman more than anything and wants to live for her.

9. Kalki avatar - Govindaraj Ramasamy
As you know, the hero in kaliyug can be none other than the Kalki avatar!!!

10. Koorma avatar - Bush
This is the most loose adaptation I couldn't clearly comprehend. But if you look at the real koorma avatar, the lord is the turtle/tortoise that helps in stirring the ksheera sagara and bringing out the amruth.This essentially creates war among the devas and asuras. Similarly today Bush facilitates war between you know whom... May be Kamal also indicates that this avatar the characteristics of a tortoise...

"இதெல்லாம் சரி, நீ என்ன சொல்ல வர்ரே அதைச் சொல்லு அத விட்டுட்டு அடுத்த ஆளு சொல்றதை ஏன் எங்களுக்கு சொல்றே"ன்னு திட்டாதீங்க. இது இந்த இவர் சொன்ன மாதிரி நிஜமாகவே தசாவதாரமா இல்லையான்னு தெரிஞ்சுக்கரதுக்க எனக்கு எந்த ஆர்வமும் இல்லை. எனக்கு, ஒரு படத்தை ரசிக்கத் தேவையானது, நல்ல கதை, நல்ல திரைக்கதை, நல்ல இயக்கம், நல்ல ஒளிப்பதிவு, நல்ல பின்னனி இசை, பாடல் இருந்தாலும் இல்லாவிட்டாலும் பெரிய பாதிப்பில்லை, தொய்வில்லாத கதைக் களமும் திறமையான படப் பகுப்பும் போதும். இவையெல்லாம் இந்தப் படத்தில் இருக்கிறது.

ஒரு கலைஞன் (சொல்லப் போனால் மிகச் சிறந்த கலைஞன்) 10 வேடங்களில் நடித்து, அதற்கு அவரே கதை, திரைக்கதை, வசனம் எழுதி (அங்கங்கே இயக்கியும் இருப்பார் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்), ஒவ்வொரு பாத்திரத்தையும் செதுக்கியது போல தந்திருப்பது மிகப் பெரிய விஷயம்தான். சில பாத்திரங்கள்(கலிஃபுல்லா கான், அவத்தார் சிங்) அதிகம் வேலையில்லாமல் வெறும வளைய வருவது போல இருக்கிறது. இதுவும் தவிர்க்க முடியாத ஒன்று, எல்லோருக்கும் பேசப் படக்கூடிய அளவில் வசனமும் முக்கியத்துவமும் இப்படிப் பட்ட ப்ரமாண்டமான படத்தில் சாத்தியமில்லை. மகா மகா கலைஞன் நாகேஷுக்கே படம் முழுவதுக்கும் ஒரு பக்கம் அளவுதான் வசனம் என்றால் மற்றவர்களைப் பற்றி அதிகம் சொல்வதற்கில்லை.

ஒரு சைவ சமயத்தை சார்ந்த சோழன்(நெப்போலியன்) எப்படி சாதாரணத் தமிழ் பேசினார் (ஒத்துக் கொள் நம்பி)? பள்ளி கொண்ட பெருமாளை நிஜமாகவே கடலில் தூக்கி எறிந்தார்களா? கிருமி தாக்கிய சில நிமிடங்களுக்குப் பிறகுதானே கடல் நீர் பொங்கி வருகிறது அதற்குள் அந்தக் கிருமி பரவியிருக்காதா? அமெரிக்காவிலிருந்து வரும் வில்லன் கமலுக்கு எப்படி ஹீரோ கமல் இந்தியா வந்திருப்பது தெரியும்? அதுவும் ஏர்போர்டில் எங்கிருக்கிறார் என்பது எப்படித் தெரியும்? எப்படி வீடியோ காமெராவில் கைத்துப்பாக்கியை மறைத்து கொண்டு வரமுடியும்? எப்படி வில்லன் போகிற போக்கில் எல்லோரையும் கொன்று குவிக்க முடியும்? அவர் கடைத்தெருவில் பெரிய களேபரத்தை ஆரம்பித்த பிறகு போலீஸ் ஆஃபீஸர் பலராம் நாயுடு எங்கே போனார்? இப்படி பல கேள்விகளைக் கேட்கலாம், ஆனால் இவையெல்லாம் கதையின் ஓட்டத்தை சற்றும் குலைக்கவில்லை என்பதுதான் நிஜம். கடைசியில் 2004-ல் சுனாமி வந்ததே ஒரு மிகப் பெரிய இழப்பை தவிர்க்கத்தான் என்று கதையை முடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். அது சரியா தவறா என்று ஆராய்வது எனக்கு தேவையில்லாத ஒன்று.

முடிவாக, என்னைப் பொறுத்தவரையில் இது கண்டிப்பாக ஒரு முறை பார்க்க வேண்டிய படம். 13 கமலுக்காக (10 கமல் + கதை, திரைக்கதை, வசனம் எழுதிய கமல்கள்) கண்டிப்பாக பார்க்கவேண்டும். கமலைப் பிடிக்காதவர்கள் கதாபாத்திரங்களின் நல்ல ஒருங்கிணைப்புக்காக பார்க்கலாம் அல்லது அசிங்க நடனமாடாத கதாநாயகிக்காகப் பார்க்கலாம் அல்லது கமல் அங்கங்கே அள்ளித் தெளித்திருக்கும் பல நல்ல கருத்துக்களுக்காகப் பார்க்கலாம் அல்லது க்ராஃப்பிக்ஸ் மூலம் பல காட்சிகளைத் தத்ரூபமாக தந்திருப்பதற்காகப் பார்க்கலாம் அல்லது ஒரு க்ராதகச் சுனாமியை கண் முன் கொண்டுவந்து அன்றைய கோரத் தாண்டவத்தை மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை அரங்கேற்றியதற்காகப் பார்க்கலாம் கதையை தொய்ய விடாமல் செலுத்தியதற்காகப் பார்க்கலாம் அல்லது மனதைக் கரைக்கும் பாட்டி கமலுக்காகப் பார்க்கலாம் அல்லது தெலுங்கு உச்சரிப்பால் கலகலக்க வைக்கும் பலராம் நாயுடு கமலுக்காகப் பார்க்கலாம் அல்லது நடிப்பால், கண் அசைவால, தெய்வ பக்தியால் நம் அடி வயிற்றை பிசைந்து நம் கண்களைக் குளமாக்க முயன்ற ரங்கராஜ நம்பி கமலுக்காகப் பார்க்கலாம் அல்லது பல இன்னல்களுக்கு இடையில் இப்படி ஒரு ப்ரமாண்டமான படத்தை தயாரித்தவருக்காகப் பார்க்கலாம் அல்லது இப்படத்தை இவ்வளவு சிறப்பாக இயக்கிய ரவிக்குமாருக்காகப் பார்க்கலாம். இத்தனைக் காரணங்கள் போதாது என்றால், குருவி, பீமா போன்ற த்ராபை படங்கள் போதும் என்று இருந்து விடலாம்.

Excel in Excel - Shortcuts

பொட்டி தட்டும் எல்லோரும் பயன்படுத்தும் ஒரு மென்பொருள்களுள் மைக்ரோசாஃப்ட் நிறுவனத்தின் எக்ஸெலிற்கு தனி இடம் உண்டு என்பது நாம் எல்லோரும் அறிந்த ஒன்று. அதில் சில உபயோகமான, எளிதான குறுக்கு வழிகளை இங்கே பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறேன்.

ந‌ம் ப‌ய‌ன்பாட்டிற்கு ஏற்றார் போல் விரைவாகச் செய்ய எக்ஸெலில் சுருக்கு வ‌ழிக‌ள் / மாற்று வ‌ழிக‌ள் என‌ப் ப‌ல‌ வ‌ழிக‌ள் ஏராளம் இருக்க‌, ந‌ம்மில் அநேக‌ர் இன்னும் எலிக‌ளைத் தான் அதிக‌ம் க்ளிக்குகிறோம்.

உதாரணத்திற்கு: அதிகம் பயன்படுத்தும் Format Dialog.



1. எலியை இழுத்து, Format, அதன் பின் Cells க்ளிக்குவோம்.
2. இதைச் சுலபமாய் "Ctrl மற்றும் 1" அழுத்தி விரைவாகப் பெறலாம்.

ஒரு கட்டத்தில் இன்றைய தேதி வேண்டும். என்ன செய்யலாம் ?

1. இன்றைய தேதியைத் தட்டச்சிடலாம்.
2. ஆனால், மிகச் சுலபமாக "Ctrl ;" அழுத்தினால் போதும்.

தேதியைப் பார்த்தாச்சு. தற்போதைய நேரம் வேண்டுமெனில் ?

"Ctrl :" அழுத்தினால் போதும்.

ஒரு சின்ன அட்டவனை போடுகிறோம். அதில் மேலிருக்கும் தகவல் கீழும் வருமெனில், உதாரணத்திற்கு படத்தில் உள்ள தேதி:



1. மீண்டும் தட்டச்சிடலாம்.
2. or "Ctrl C" and "Ctrl V" செய்யலாம்.
3. மேல் குறிப்பிட்ட இரண்டையும் விட எளிதாகப் பெற "Ctrl D" அழுத்துங்கள்.

இதே போன்று, இடப்பக்கம் உள்ள ஒன்றை வலப் பக்கம் பிரதியிட "Ctrl R" அழுத்தினால் போதும்.

ஒரு அட்டவனை முழுதும் எழுத்தின் அளவுகளை மாற்ற வேண்டும். எங்கிருந்து வேண்டுமோ, அங்கே க்ளிக்கி அட்டவனை முடியும் வரை இழுத்து, பின் format பண்ணுவோம்.

இதை எளிதாய் செய்ய: அட்டவனையினுள் ஒரு கட்டத்தைக் க்ளிக்கி, "Ctrl A" அழுத்தினால், அட்டவனை முழுதும் select ஆகிவிடும். வேண்டிய மாற்றங்களைச் செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.



மொத்த பக்கத்தையும் format செய்ய மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை "Ctrl A" அழுத்திக் கொண்டு, வேண்டிய மாற்றங்களைச் செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.
